Investment Analyst

Basic objective: We are seeking a talented Investment Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will assess and evaluate startup opportunities, contributing to our investment strategy. You will collaborate with founders and internal teams to drive high-impact investment decisions. Technical Skills :

Screening and Research:

• Conduct market research to find and evaluate B2B/B2C startups that fit the fund’s investment strategy.
• Analyze market trends, competition, and new technologies in sectors like FinTech, EdTech, HealthTech, and more.

Founder Interaction:

• Talk with startup founders to understand their business models, the problems they solve, and their value propositions.
• Assess their potential for investment through discussions and detailed analysis.

Investment Case Development:

• Create strong investment cases with financial projections, risk assessments, and growth potential.
• Present these cases to the investment committee with clear reasoning for recommendations.

Financial Analysis:

• Perform financial modeling and valuation to support investment decisions.
• Track portfolio performance and market changes to adjust strategies.

Collaboration:

• Work with senior team members to update the investment thesis and stay informed about industry trends.
• Assist in due diligence and post-investment monitoring.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a similar field. An MBA or relevant graduate degree is a plus.
• 2+ years of experience in investment analysis, venture capital, private equity, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills with expertise in financial modeling, valuation, and investment principles.
• Excellent communication skills, able to clearly present complex information both verbally and in writing.
